Upstairs & Downstairs: a Lasers & Feelings hack

You are an aristocratic family and their staff at a French château during World War I. It is the fall of 1915, and the Western Front grows ever closer. Your tasks are to assess your position, ensure your own survival, and preserve the estate. The Count has been overcome by tuberculosis, leaving you to fend for yourselves while he slowly perishes. 

In this hack of John Harper's "Lasers & Feelings," play out a turn-of-the-century comedy (or tragedy?) of manners as the mortars fire away in the distance.
